Have you ever had your money held before? And then your processor won't call you back? It's fair to say that money, capital, "fedia" is the most important part of any business. Reminder: Money makes the world go round. I am going to share with you the top 3 ways to avoid dealing with that headache.
Number 1: Make a relationship with your rep. He is the most important person to speak with if you need help or have questions about how you process your payments. You want to be in his good graces because his time is money also. Your processor is the one to get the problem resolved. Get to know them and establish a relationship. We call it a partnership. Send him or her a box of chocolates every Christmas or something. It goes a long way.
Number 2: Get out in front of it. For example, if you plan on running high ticket transaction, send your processor a heads up that it's coming. The banks have implemented security practices that are mandated, and will send up a flag. You can ask for increased thresholds for transactions and you may want to prepare a purchase order to justify the transaction. Fraud is a serious issue so you need to understand its just security measures.
Number 3: Patience, its going to be a minimum of 3 days. A good processor (us) and taking in #1 & #2 will have your money in less time, and only if your money was flagged. I get calls all day where people's money is being held for up to 30 days. If thats you right now, call us. We can help you get your money faster.
